Battery operated vehicles

Recently, battery operated vehicles have come into the focus becaue of their oil-free and pollution-free transport operation. This offers good potential and can hope to be introduced in future preferably in bus service in busy commercial and congested areas.There are more than 100 such vehicles running on experimental basis in NewDelhi and in Chennai Zoo for transporting tourists.By intoducing 104 electrovans in Varanasy city,nearly 5% of the total petrol consumption of the city has been saved.
